Old Man vs. Young Guns recap

The annual Old Man vs Young Guns tournament has come and gone with the Old Men emerging victorious this year. The Old Men sacked up 109.98lbs over 2 days on a very hot Lake Guntersville. Bruce Sargent and Wallace Williams led the way with 18.27 lbs and a 5.61 big fish on day 2. They also had the most weight over the 2 days with 32.52 lbs.

The young guns finished the event with a 2 day total of 71.89 lbs. Matthew Hebert and Alex Roberts led the way for the Young Guns with 30.33 lbs which was 2nd most behind Bruce and Wallace.

While the fishing was good, the club fellowship we had this past weekend was even better. We had a lot of great times off the water hanging out and grilling out at the cabins together. This is always the most fun tournament of the year and this one was another one for the books! Thank you to Matthew Hebert and Bruce Sargent for organizing and running this event. Next up is our club only derby on Logan-Martin on September 6th. See y'all there!
