Lake Martin update

First derby of the year is in the books and we had a strong showing as a club! Joey Aderhold led the way on the boater side with a limit of 11.82 which was good for 4th place overall. Lee Byrd, Charles Nowling and Thad Spates all had good finishes on the boater side too, coming in 19th, 29th and 31st respectively.

The co-anglers really showed out though! Jonathan Watson brought in 3 fish for 10.57 anchored by 6.39 largemouth to win the co side and big bass for the entire tournament. Wallace Williams followed him in second place and Jacob George came in at 6th overall. Charles Nowling and Jonathan Watson also combined to win the team portion of the event. Congrats to all those guys on an awesome tournament!

Our next derby is March 22nd at Eufaula. If you haven't already secured lodging please look into it asap as the options are dwindling. Also, if you haven't joined the club GroupMe please look into that as it is a great way for us to communicate easily and quickly at the nation events. Can't wait to see everyone at Eufaula it should be a smash fest.
