Lake Eufaula round up

The second stop of 2025 is finished and the club had another respectable showing at Eufaula. Despite super muddy conditions from storms our guys were able to figure the bite out and bring in some solid bags of fish! Lee Byrd led the way on the boater side with 15.53 and a 10th place finish. Bruce Sargent was not far behind in 12th place with 15.29.

The co-anglers once again showed out and the angler of the year race is shaping up to be a good one out of the back of the boat. Lee Fowler finished 5th thanks to two Eufaula giants that gave him 9.94. Wallace Williams, Jacob George and Charles Rosato followed him in 8th, 9th and 10th place respectively. All in all, we had 7 co-anglers finish in the top 20 in this tournament. Strong work gentlemen!

Our next tournament is a quick turn around on April 12th at Neely Henry. This will be the third stop on the AL Bass Nation this year. Looking forward to seeing everyone there again. It will be good to have a tournament close to home on the Coosa!

Before I sign off, I want to give a big shoutout and thank you to Matthew Hebert, Charles Nowling and everyone else who helped make the crawfish boil at Eufaula possible. It was a great time and good fellowship as a club.
